Flip your plate up into the "on show" position, slide the Locking Shim into place, and it can't move — full stop. Not looser, not tighter, just completely locked out of flipping, so there's zero doubt it'll stay on show for road use.

Extremely easy to fit, instructions are great and easy to follow.
Lock is so stable even in high speed. Tried riding while the plate is in flip position, it holds its position.
Locking shim works really well. Only recommendation I have for the manufacturer would be to have the portion of the shim you grab to lock and unlock it to be longer. It's very difficult to reach back and unlock it if you have gloves on, because it's very difficult to feel it, and even harder to get a grip on it.

Locking shim is great. Allows you to lock your flipndip in place so no one can move it. Can also be unlocked simply as long as the screws are not too tight.
