Up until the install part was a great service. Purchased and paid for install then received an email to say that the garage are unable to fit to my particular bike due to complex fitment then was told that the fitment could be done but would take longer and would be an extra £60? When I checked the website there was no small print to say what bikes were excluded from being fitted or an additional cost to have it fitted. I feel this should have been honoured at the original price I paid. Once I mentioned that to your customer service team they instantly changed the website to say my vehicle is no longer able to have this service (S1000XR)? Seems crazy really when it clearly says expert fitment needed not for novice and you can’t offer fitment. Effectively the item is redundant as you’re selling a bespoke item that you can’t fit. It isn’t like I’m having a tyre changed and I can just pop to my local dealer this is bespoke to you.
Store owner replied: Hi, As explained, this is nearly a 2 hour install, and is very cumbersome, so our normal £60 fee simply doesn't cover the work involved. We offered to install it for £120 which is probably still 50% cheaper than any other shop... The bracket was brand new so yes we updated the page after our convo...
